ST. STEPHEN’S PARISH CENTER
RENOVATION
“Journey to the Center”
MINIMUM GOAL:
$750,000
St. Stephen’s Parish Center Renovation is a
gift-giving vehicle designed to cultivate the spiritual, human and financial
resources of parishioners, benefactors and friends that will fund
renovation of the parish activity center, formerly known as the Millard
Learning Center, attend to church and school building security and deal with
the parking situation.
These improvements will
provide an environment that further amplifies the mission and ministry of
Jesus Christ in our lives individually and as a worshiping community. Some
of you will remember the very first Mass in the new church on November 22,
1991. Themes that are part of the heritage of St. Stephen the Martyr are
service, evangelization, reverence for the Word of God, and reconciliation.
We decided on “Journey to the Center” as our theme for Parish Center
Renovation because it reminds us that our path to salvation is a life-long
journey centered on our living out the teachings of Jesus Christ. May
each of us “center” our commitment to St. Stephen’s beginning today as we
look forward to celebrating our 20 years of faith in 2009 – the parish
was created on June 15, 1989.
