2008-09 Registration has begun!
It's time to get your children registered for
2008-09 R.E. classes. St. Stephen’s offers religious
education for children 3 years old through high school. We also have classes
for students with special needs. Registration forms and information is available on our
Registration link.
Catholic Education Week- ‘Together We
Light the Way to Jesus’
This is a great time to
celebrate the fact that 2,300+ children (from 1,400 different families!) are
formed in our Catholic faith each week at St. Stephen’s!! 'Children of the Light’ reminds us that the responsibility
to raise our children to ‘walk always as a child of the light’ was entrusted to
both parents and the entire faith community at Baptism. For more information,
please read the handout 'Children of the Light'.
We are looking for catechists to share their
faith with the youth of our parish. If you are interested in teaching
or have questions about what is involved with being a catechist, please contact
the R.E. Office at 896-5683 or m.maguire@stephen.org.
Circle of Grace is the Safe
Environment training for youth that was mandated by the U.S.C.C.B.'s "Charter
for the Protection of Children and Young People." Each year, we will present
Circle of Grace lessons to students in Kindergarten through High School.

Parents are always encouraged to be involved with our program. Please
sign in at the R.E. Office if you'd like to visit your child's classroom. If you are interested in volunteering or being a co-catechist, please contact the R.E. Office for more
information. New students are always welcome! Registration forms are available on the Registration Information
page of our website.
