The Great Adventure: Matthew

Beginning Sept. 11th in the GPC at 6:30 pm, we will be offering the Great Adventure-Matthew, a 24 part series taught by Jeff Cavins. Matthew is the second class of The Great Adventure Foundational Series . This study moves from telling the story to making it personal. While the historical books of the Bible recount God’s creative and redemptive acts in history, The Gospel of Matthew focuses on Jesus as the fulfilment of the promises of the Old Testament. It also touches on Jesus’ establishment of the Church as the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.  Set in the rich context of Jesus’ Jewish culture, this study will help you understand the universal truths of the Kingdom of God; it will help you understand more fully God’s will for us today. For this reason, it is an ideal starting point for the study of Sacred Scripture.   Registration is required to ensure adequate resources and the cost of the workbook is $29.95 plus tax.
