Shield a Badge was started several years ago in response to the deaths of
Officer Jimmy Wilson Jr. and Firefighter John Goessling. This ministry is
carried on throughout our city by several religious faiths.
The ministry is very simple. Each day we remember a police officer, firefighter,
paramedic or anyone on active duty in the military in our prayers. We ask our Lord to protect them,
our protectors. You may choose a card from our collection or give us the name of
the officer you want and we will get the card to you. An alternative is that you
may pray for all of our protectors in general. If you are interested in this ministry please
