The lector shares in the work
of the Lord's Spirit who opens our hearts to God's holy word. It is not like
announcing the news or reading a public announcement. It is much more. Yours is
the task of telling our family story, the story of salvation and proclaiming the
true and saving word of God.
Requirements:
1. Strong faith in the Word of God and good speaking skills
2. Attend the Archdiocesan training and Mandation ceremony
3. Attend the St. Stephen the Martyr training to learn the ins & outs of our own
parish Liturgies.
