The Greeter Ministry in our parish is a vital component for the development and maintenance of community. It is common knowledge throughout the archdiocese that the parish of St.Stephen the Martyr is a very welcoming and friendly parish. Our Greeters play a major role in conveying this spirit of warmth and graciousness to our worshippers. Their ministry is not complex as it involves opening doors as our parishioners enter the building, extending them a warm smile, a handshake maybe and certainly a greeting. Occasionally they will hand out the programs or worship  aides for certain special services. Our greeters usually have an assignment about once a month and a meeting once a year. The ministry is a rewarding one. It is a great way to get to know people and it is a wonderful opportunity to be of service in the weekend liturgies at St.Stephen the Martyr.
