2nd Annual Chili Challenge

to benefit Tuition Assistance.

All proceeds from this event will be used to provide tuition assistance for families in our school and Religious Education. 

Our 1st  Annual Chili Challenge generated over $17,000 for Tuition Assistance.  During the 2009-2010 school year, SSM will be providing well over $20,000 in tuition waivers for families in our Parish School and RE programs in need of our help.  Our parish has the largest elementary school and the largest Religious Education program in the state; we obviously place a high priority on the value of Catholic education.  Ensuring that St. Stephen the Martyr will continue to have enough money in the budget to waive partial tuition for our families who struggle financially helps us fulfill our parish mission.  The Chili Challenge is a wonderful example of what our parish can do when we get united behind a worthwhile cause. 

We are looking for Chili Cookers and Enthusiastic volunteers to help plan and execute this year's challenge.  Contact Ron Meier at 861-4507 for more information.
