Archdiocesan Policy
Each
couple must contact their pastor six months prior to their desired wedding date.
In addition, each couple must attend a three hour Marriage Preparation
Pre-Session. At the pre-session they will be administered the FOCCUS instrument.
Subsequent to receiving the FOCCUS results, each couple will meet several times
with a trained FOCCUS facilitator. Concurrently, each couple is encouraged to
participate in an Marriage Preparation Education Program.
