Little Saints is a parish ministry that
supports families in their faith development through caring for the young
children of the family during Sunday mass, Adult Education programs, and parish events.
Little Saints is open for children ages 1 - 3 years of age
during Sunday 9:00 am and 10:30am mass. It is also open during many of the
adult ed programs. Check the on line
registration form below for specific information
about when Little Saints is
available.
If you are interested in being a part of the
Little Saints ministry of caring for our children, please contact: Lisa
Moffett 891-1750 for Little Saints ministry on Sundays and Colleen Betts, 896-4564 for Little Saint
ministry for all other events.
At the bottom of this page you will find the Little Saints Registration Form that MUST be filled
out. This form will help us determine the number of caregivers during
each time. They will also help the caregivers learn more about the
individual needs of your children.
Little Saints Guidelines
1. Suggested
Donation: in order to provide quality care we have volunteer and paid care
providers in Little Saints. We ask a donation of $2.50 per child per hour to help
support the Little Saints ministry. Checks can be written out to St.
Stephen the Martyr. The caregivers have envelopes for
donations received throughout the year. We do use the honor system, and we
ask that you pay according to your ability. No one will be turned away.
2. Be on time when dropping off and picking
up your children. The caregivers need preparation and clean-up time each
day.
3. You must be
attending an Adult Education Class, Mass or other parish function.
A parent must be on site.
4. Children are served a small snack during the session (crackers,
goldfish, teddy grahams, etc…) and water. Donations of snacks, Kleenex, paper towels, baby wipes,
extra diapers, napkins, small cups, paper plates, etc… are greatly
appreciated. They can be given to the caregivers at any time throughout the
year.
5. Label all belongings (diaper bags, sippy cups, etc…). This helps when
the caregivers need to find a diaper bag to change a child, a special blanket,
etc…
